First of all be aware that the private bedrooms’s pictures...

First of all be aware that the private bedrooms’s pictures don’t look like reality at all. Unfortunately that’s the case in most of the places in Philippines. Despite that point, it was probably the cleanest, newest and hottest showers we had in our all trip in the philippines. The wifi they have is very fast and reachable from any point of the hostel. Staff is nice, speaks correct English.

As it was low season (???) they didn’t have any really food services. My boyfriend and I got food poisonning from outside and he wanted to eat the hostel. The lady told her she only had for the staff meals BUT she offered kindly a part of rice. I also asked for a banana as they were offering banana shakes but they didn’t have any (???)

What was the highlight of Bamboo Hostel and Tours

If you want a super laid back, chill, simple hostel. This is the place to be. Plus, fast wifi!

When i checked in, i was surprised i was their only guest that day! Given it was off season, and rainy too! So they were generous enough to upgrade me to a small private room which was really nice. :)

I wish they could do unlimited coffee. It's only free for the first cup. Either way, everything was okay!

Good wifi.

Good wifi. Simple breakfast provided. Complementary upgrade to private room due to low season (only paid $6/night). Safe as the property is guarded.

Very far from the city centre, 2km+ 20-30 minutes by walk (no street lights around hostel). Room is a bit dusty. Pillows and sheets cover have aged. Blanket is very thin.

Staff was nice and facilities were fine and match with the price per night. So far this place needs some upgrades to make it more attractive for travelers.

Quite far from city centre so be ready to pay a little bit more of money to get transport to there.

First of all the location is excellent, the staff friendly and the bed comfortable. There is also a lounge with very good and relaxing music also very clean, I would definitely stay again!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Original hostel where to stay a couple of nights, I really enjoyed its style

To eat you need to walk 15mins. And as a solo woman can be a bit scary when s dark, since is side road without lights. The dorms has no walls and you can hear lots of motorbikes during the night

Hammocks and best Wi-Fi of the Filippines

The place has a nice chill area with hammocks and the Wi-Fi is really fast. Also the public bathrooms are clean and the showers, toilets and sinks are separated.

The breakfast consisted out of two waffles and a cup of coffee. Some eggs would be better. We arrived really late and notified the accommodation beforehand, but they did not respond on e-mails and messages via Booking.com.

The staffs are so nice. They're very approachable. All the people are great.

There was only one electric fan in the dorm room so it was so hot to sleep.
